June 1, 2026: Silence, it's growing

May 7, 2026: Birth of the Vegetable Garden Giant
A hollow tree fell during the night; fortunately, it didn't hit anyone. This tree has found a second life: It has become the Giant of the Vegetable Garden, to the point that its presence still surprises me.

May 2nd, 2026: World Naked Gardening Day
To mark the occasion, we inaugurated the brand new Clos Barrat Vegetable Garden. Alongside our holidaymakers, we planted cherry tomatoes, strawberries, artichokes, and zucchinis, and sowed beans and flowers. It was a wonderful, friendly moment where everyone contributed in their own way.

The space has had a complete makeover!
After a thorough spring cleaning, the area was covered with a beautiful mulch of shredded wood, sourced directly from our autumn pruning. But that’s not all: to nourish the soil, we added no less than 6 m³ of compost. A 100% natural "2025 vintage" potting soil, carefully prepared thanks to our guests' participation! A huge thank you to all of you for this great ecological gesture that will nourish our future crops. The vegetables are just waiting for summer now! 🍅🌿

The new Clos Barrat garden is taking root!
Sometimes, nature takes over to guide us toward new projects. In February 2026, strong winds blew away our yoga tent, freeing up a prime location. It was a golden opportunity to finally create the large collective vegetable garden we’d been dreaming of! Soon, this space will turn green again, and we can’t wait to see you tasting and sharing the estate's delicious organic fruits and vegetables.
